Monique Hepden joins the Bays as U18 Girls Head Coach for Season 2026

Glenelg Football Club Welcomes Monique Hepden as Inaugural SANFLW U18 Coach for 2026

The Glenelg Football Club is excited to announce the appointment of Monique Hepden as Head Coach of our inaugural SANFLW Under-18 team for the 2026 season.

Hepden holds a Level 3 AFL Coaching Accreditation and brings a wealth of experience to the role, having successfully coached both senior and U17 girls teams. More recently, Hepden was member of the 2024 SANFL Community Female Coaching Academy.

SANFLW Head Coach Talia Radan welcomed Hepden to the Bays family, “We’re thrilled to have Mon join our program. Her experience and knowledge, both in football and professionally, will be invaluable as we establish and grow our SANFLW U18 team. We’re looking forward to collaborating with Mon to streamline our junior development and ensure we’re providing the best possible support for our young athletes on their talent pathways.”

Monique Hepden also expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, “I’m really excited and honoured to have the opportunity to work with such a passionate and supportive club, and to contribute to the growth of our players and the newly formed U18 competition.
