Talia Radan leads a fresh coaching panel in 2026

Talia Radan leads an inspiring and exciting coaching panel in season 2026, where the Bays fight to impress the competition.

Radan, who will lead the Bays as coach for her second season, will again be supported by a strong and experienced coaching group as Glenelg looks to build momentum this year.

Aaron Kerr takes the reins for the forwards in his second year at the Bays and is set to guide an exciting forward line. Michael Wakim also enters his second season at Glenelg and will take charge of the backline, continuing to build on the foundations laid in his first year at the club.

Joining the coaching group for 2026 is Renee Forth, a AFLW premiership player at Adelaide Football Club. Forth brings significant experience after recent coaching roles with both Adelaide and Port Adelaide, and will lead the midfield group with a focus on ruck craft and stoppage work.

Also adding extensive experience to the panel is Hannah Wallett. Most recently the Senior Coach of the Belconnen Magpies in AFL Canberra and a stalwart of more than 200 games, Wallett will share midfield responsibilities with Forth, concentrating on the wings and outside midfield.

Mick Axon joins the Bays as Strategy and Opposition Coach. Axon brings 12 years of coaching experience with the Henley Sharks, providing valuable insight and preparation for weekly matchups.

Former Glenelg SANFLW premiership player Sheridan Howell begins her coaching journey in 2026 as Bench Coach. After retiring at the end of the 2025 season, Howell will guide players on game day from the bench, bringing recent playing experience and leadership to the role.

Rounding out the group is Rachael Killian, a premiership player with Adelaide in the AFLW, who takes on the role of Runner for the League team after serving as runner for the Women’s Development League in 2025.

Monique Hepden leads the inaugural SANFLW U18 AAMI Talent League Girls side, with the assistance of Wilbur Cornish, Chelsea Hocking, and Chris Shilling.

Together, the 2026 coaching panel combines elite playing experience, proven coaching knowledge and strong Glenelg connections as the Bays prepare for an exciting season ahead.
