Following a week of footy excitement for South Australia, the SANFL is back to regular scheduled programming with the mighty Bays hosting the Bloods at Stratarama Stadium this Saturday afternoon.

In a long-awaited return, 2025 recruit Paddy (Patrick) Parnell makes his way back into Bays league side this weekend, following nine months out of action due to injury.

Parnell’s return to the Bays is bolstered by the return of forward talent Darcy Scott, who’s impressive start to the 2026 SANFL Reserves season has seen his return to the league side.

Despite the abundance of footy-action at Stratarama Stadium over the last week, we’re excited for the Club to return to its black and gold roots, with a strong league lineup set to take the field in front of a passionate home crowd.

The clash shapes as an important early-season test, with both sides eager to build momentum as the SANFL campaign begins to take shape. The Bays will be looking to make the most of home ground advantage, while the Bloods are expected to bring intensity and pressure following two dominant performances in the early weeks of the 2026 season.
