Proudly brought to you by
A milestone, a debut, and a Grand Final rematch.
One of the biggest fixtures on the SANFL calendar returns this weekend, as the ANZAC Day Grand Final rematch reignites the fierce Bays rivalry with the Double Blues.
The mighty Bays will take the field on Saturday in honour of the service men and women who have served in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations, continuing a proud tradition of recognising the ANZAC spirit.
2025 U18 Best and Fairest Travis Wilson will make his league debut in one of the most memorable days on the SANFL calendar. He’ll be joined by 50-game milestone man Hugh Stagg, with both expected to add pace and pressure in the forward line alongside experienced forwards Lachie Hosie and Liam McBean.
In defence, premiership backman Brad McCarthy will miss the clash at Unley Oval after suffering a cheek injury in last week’s home game. His absence paves the way for Darcy Bailey to return to the league side.
Glenelg enters the contest in strong form with a 3–0 record, and will be looking to carry the intensity of last week’s final quarter into a fast start from the opening siren.
It shapes as a full day of football, with the Glenelg Women’s team kicking things off as the ANZAC Day curtain-raiser at 9:30am. The Reserves will follow at 11:40am, before the league sides take centre stage in what promises to be another thrilling chapter in this storied rivalry.
Every SANFL match this ANZAC Day will offer free entry to all Veterans and Ex-serving Members of the Australian Defence Force until 12 noon.
Tickets to Saturday’s match are available here.
