The Bays are home for Back to the Bay Day this King's Birthday long weekend!

The Bays return to Stratarama Stadium this weekend looking to build on last Saturday’s impressive 25-point win over the Bloods.

Fresh from their strongest performance of the season, the Bays will chase back-to-back wins, their second of the year, against the SANFLW’s second-placed side.

The squad taking on the Panthers remains largely unchanged, with Lucy Armitage the only player unavailable from last weekend’s line up.

Co-captain Asha Dufour is set to play her 50th SANFLW game for Glenelg this Saturday amongst the Club’s annual Back to the Bay Day celebrations. Since arriving at the Bay Dufour has been a consistent performer and leader.

The Bays will again look to their dangerous forward line, with Kiana Lee entering the round sitting second in the SANFLW goal-kicking race. Alongside Lee, Eloise Mackereth continues to provide a strong scoring threat, currently ranked sixth in the competition for goals this season.

Former AFLW premiership player Deni Varnhagen will be hoping to carry her form into another big performance after starring against West Adelaide with 13 disposals, three tackles and two goals.

Midfielder Isla Wiencke has also continued to impress in her first season in Tiger colours, backing up her consistent form each week.

Saturday’s clash forms part of a special day at Stratarama Stadium as the Glenelg Football Club celebrates the reunions of its 1985 and 1986 SANFL League premiership teams, while also recognising the five-year reunion of the Club’s inaugural 2021 SANFLW premiership side.

The SANFLW action gets underway from 12pm before Glenelg’s League clash against Port Adelaide at 2:10pm.
